I am Jason Edwards and I have been a clinical therapist for over a decade. I have an extensive background working in mental health, health care, with the emergency services and as a first responder in crisis situations. I also work as a crisis mediator and negotiator and it is this work, along with my background which has made me aware of the impact that stressful situations can have on your emotional and physical health.
I have supported those with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), addictions, grief and abuse to make positive and dramatic changes to their lives. I use a combination of Clinical Hypnosis, NLP, EFT as well as coaching and my clinical background.
I have been fortunate enough to have worked alongside and trained with some leading experts in the field of PTSD recover and attended training with ex-Special Forces officers. I have also trained other local therapists in both hypnosis and NLP.
My therapeutic work has enabled others to reduce both Stress and anxiety, to such a degree that they have been able to reduce controlled medication and return to work and enjoy a much greater quality of life.
My extended background and understanding of working within Crisis situations, either as a consultant or negotiator has enabled me to develop my own specialised therapeutic approach to helping those recover from even the most challenging, abusive and traumatic incidents and relationships.
I am highly ethical within my approach and always work with a client lead approach to the sessions I conduct. I am always happy to talk with you free of charge, to see if the help I offer would benefit you.

Recovery, Reposition, Reshape, Regenerate.
Recovery: The process of healing is possible for practically anyone and is normally the first stage that we look at when approaching any area of your life. Whether you are looking to recover from past trauma, grief or abuse, my recovery based approach will help you build a solid grounding within which we can start to help you move forward. Healing and recovery is such a major part of our lives and we seldom even consider that there are areas of our lives that need healing. Over the years we pick up so much information that we subconsciously store and end up with hidden unconscious blocks that prevent us from healing. The therapy which I conduct will enable you to heal those past unconscious blocks and past hurts while keeping you safe from past trauma.
Reposition: Getting back to your true self and finding who you are after recovering from the trauma of grief is a vital step. When you start to recover you will occasionally be left with an empty feeling, for many people have been in a poor emotional state for so long they literally do not know who they are after they have recovered. The work that I do to help others who are overcoming any kind of trauma always helps them to start to find themselves again and this vital step prevents lapses back into poor emotional health.
Reshape: Taking a new and positive approach to your emotional and physical health. We can often find in life that our desire to indulge in poor habits, whether it is smoking, drinking abusing drugs or even overeating will always come from an element of poor emotional thought. Some of you are not even aware of why you smoke, overeat or drink to excess and do not always look within the correct areas of your life to make those changes. My work will help guide you towards a greater way of thinking that will enable you to let go of any habits that you wish
Regenerate: Finally growing into that person you are truly meant to be and taking those confident steps forward every day. Who were you really meant to be in this life? Do you ever have the feeling that you have never totally fulfilled your true potential and do not even know why or worse how to do it? This is the final stage that we look to within our pathway, where we discover our full potential and look to make those changes in our lives that will finally enable us to fulfil our destiny and full potential. It is within this stage where I help you to boost your confidence and see how we can bring down the barriers that have been standing between you and your goals.
